| Seismic intensity meter | In order to know the "shaking" accurately and quickly which you are feeling. Recognizing the “shaking” felled when an earthquake happens as an accurate seismic intensity is indispensable for disaster prevention measures for local governments, communities and companies. Seismic intensity (Shindo) observation is important for estimating the damages and scale. The Seismic Intensity Meter calculates and displays the seismic intensity in Shindo scale 0-7 defined by the Japan Meteorological Agency. Since Shindo information has high accuracy of which certificate can be obtained by the Japan Meteorological Agency, it is also adopted by meteorological observatories in Japan and news medias. | Ground deformation monitoring system | The latest InSAR technology, which irradiates ground subsidence and land deformation with microwaves from satellites and observes the deformation by interference wave measurement, enables overall and wide-area monitoring. You can also use the GNSS (Shamen Net) deformation monitoring service that directly measures land deformation such as dams, embankments, landslides, and construction slopes. In Japan, about 1000 GNSSs are monitored unmanned at one control center at 300 sites. By monitoring a lot of actual data as big data with AI, it is possible to detect abnormal data such as collapse and prevent disasters. Both methods can be combined as a "hybrid monitoring" service or applied individually. It can also support facility maintenance plans for large-scale infrastructure such as dams, levees, landfills, and utility facilities. |
