| Flood Management and River Management | This study examines the feasibility of introducing an efficient and effective water disaster management system or river management system that utilizes advanced Japanese technologies to support smart disaster prevention in ASEAN cities. In the study, target cities are carefully selected after comprehensively analyzing the disaster risks and disaster prevention needs of each ASEAN city. Through interviews with each city and on-site surveys, a detailed understanding of the issues and needs of each city are obtained in terms of water disaster management or river management, and possible solutions are detected taking the needs, the existing facilities, and technological capabilities of the target cities into account. Moreover, financial studies are conducted on the introduction of a water disaster management system or a river management system. |
