Evacuation Behavior | This study examines the feasibility of introducing an efficient and effective evacuation promotion system that utilizes advanced Japanese technologies to support smart disaster prevention in ASEAN cities. In the study, the Jakarta metropolitan area in Indonesia and cities around the Manila metropolitan area in the Philippines were selected as the target cities, taking into consideration the disaster risks and disaster prevention needs of each ASEAN city. Then, through interviews with each city and on-site surveys, a detailed understanding of the issues and needs of each city are obtained in terms of evacuation promotion. Moreover, a technical and financial study are conducted on the introduction of an evacuation promotion system that utilizes Japanese technologies, such as flood forecasting technology using longitudinal water level observation data of rivers and a cloud-based water disaster information management system. | SmartJAMP(2021) Pre-feasibility Study on the Introduction of an Advanced Action Evacuation Promotion Systems in ASEAN |
